120V LED Strip: High-Voltage Lighting With No Power Supply Required
The 120V high-voltage LED strip is the ideal linear lighting solution for large-scale installations where low-voltage 12V or 24V strips would be impractical. Unlike conventional LED strips that require a power supply, the 120V strip connects directly to a standard electrical circuit — just like any other lighting fixture. The result is fewer components, simpler wiring, and continuous runs of up to 50 meters with no voltage drop and no intermediate connection points.
Available in 3000K (warm white) and 4000K (neutral white), our 120V LED strips are IP65 rated and built to withstand Canadian outdoor conditions — UV exposure, moisture and freeze-thaw cycles. With a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, they are a durable investment for any commercial, institutional or large-format residential project. Available in 25 or 50-meter reels, or in custom lengths tailored to your project.
Low-voltage strips are ideal for short to medium residential runs. But once the length exceeds roughly ten meters, voltage drop causes uneven brightness toward the far end, and multiple power supplies add cost and complexity. The 120V LED strip eliminates these constraints entirely — a single connection to the existing circuit is all it takes to power dozens of meters with perfectly uniform brightness from end to end.
The 120V LED strip is the preferred choice for building perimeter lighting, architectural facade accents, large-span soffit underlighting, commercial signage, and continuous decorative runs in hotels, shopping centers and event spaces. Installation must be carried out by a licensed electrician in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code. For a clean architectural finish, integration into an aluminum profile is recommended.
