CSP LED strips built for sauna heat
Standard LED strips fail quickly in saunas. Temperatures above 80 °C degrade conventional LED components in ways that aren't immediately visible — until the strip stops working weeks or months into installation. CSP (Chip Scale Package) LED strips eliminate the traditional component housing, reducing thermal mass and improving heat dissipation dramatically. They are specifically selected for high-temperature environments.
Our sauna-rated CSP strips are IP67 certified — fully sealed against dust and protected against temporary water immersion. In a traditional Finnish sauna where water is poured on heated stones, or in a steam cabin, that protection is essential. Available in warm white (2700 K–3000 K) for a natural, relaxing atmosphere, and in RGB or RGBW for full chromotherapy capability.
Custom-fabricated under-bench linear fixtures
LEDCO's standout capability for sauna installations is custom linear fixture fabrication. We cut aluminum profiles to your exact dimensions — under benches, along side walls, behind cedar paneling — install the CSP LED strip, and ship you a ready-to-mount assembly. No cutting, no soldering, no guesswork inside a confined hot space.
The aluminum profile serves two purposes: it protects the LED strip from physical contact and steam infiltration, and it acts as a heat sink to extend strip lifespan. All profiles include a matte diffuser cover that eliminates hot spots and produces smooth, even light across the entire length.

PK2000 recessed puck lights for accent lighting
The PK2000 recessed puck light installs flush into sauna ceilings or walls to add accent and general illumination without glare. Its compact format and shallow depth work well in tight wood assemblies. The aluminum housing withstands heat, and the sealed design handles steam. Paired with under-bench CSP strips, the PK2000 creates two distinct lighting zones — indirect ambient below and soft accent above.
Chromotherapy and smart dimming control
Chromotherapy — using light color to influence physical and emotional state — is increasingly standard in modern wellness saunas. Our RGB and RGBW strips connect to Bluetooth or Wi-Fi dimmer controllers for full scene programming: slow color transitions, fixed hues, automatic sequences or smartphone control. The controller mounts outside the hot zone; only the cable enters the cabin. Warm white for deep relaxation, blue for meditation, orange for a gentle energy boost at the start of a session.
