LED shed lights
A poorly lit shed or workshop is a space where mistakes happen — a blade mispositioned, a nut improperly tightened, a measurement misread. Workshop lighting must be bright, uniform and durable. It must withstand wood or metal dust, variable humidity and the constant movement of tools and materials. LEDCO offers LED fixtures specifically suited to sheds and workshops — surface-mount linear shop lights, robust panels and accent spots — to transform any workspace into a functional and safe environment.
Linear LED shop lights — the workshop reference solution
The 4-foot or 8-foot LED shop light is the most popular solution for residential sheds and workshops. It surface-mounts directly to the ceiling without a suspended ceiling — just two screws and a standard 120V outlet connection. No electrician required for a basic installation. Multiple shop lights daisy-chain together to cover a large surface from a single electrical connection. At 5000 K (daylight white), they produce crisp light that reveals fine details — wood grain lines, screw threads, tape measure graduations. A 4,000–6,500 lumen output per fixture illuminates a 2 × 4 meter workbench or complete work zone. Their polycarbonate or painted steel housing handles splashes and cutting dust (IP22 or IP44 depending on model).
Surface-mount LED panels for finished-ceiling sheds
In a shed whose ceiling is already finished (OSB, plywood, drywall), a 60 × 60 cm surface-mount LED panel installs without ceiling cutout — it mounts directly on the surface with four screws and delivers flatter, more uniform light than shop lights. Ideal for spaces where work happens standing and moving (pottery, sewing, furniture restoration). A 3,000–4,500 lumen output per panel covers a 3 × 3 meter zone at a comfortable illumination level.
Accent spots for precision work areas
At a workbench, lathe or mill, general lighting isn't always enough. Flexible-arm LED spots or adjustable machine lights add concentrated illumination exactly where work happens. These small 120V fixtures clip to the workbench or mount under a shelf for shadow-free precision lighting on the part being fabricated.
Durability and resilience for daily use
A workshop is a demanding environment. Wood dust accumulates, humidity varies seasonally, fixtures can be struck by long materials. Our workshop shop lights and panels are built to last in these conditions — robust bodies, shatter-resistant polycarbonate diffusers, secure connections. Their 30,000–50,000 hour lifespan means you won't need to climb a ladder to change a bulb for years.
