Custom-fabricated LED shower niches
The shower niche integrated into the tiled wall is both a product storage space and a strong design element when properly lit. LEDCO fabricates IP67 LED strip assemblies in an ultra-flat aluminum profile, cut to your niche's exact length — whether 30 cm, 60 cm or 90 cm. The profile diffuses soft, uniform light inside the niche without visible hot spots, creating an elegant light box effect in the shower wall. The assembly is fully waterproof. CSP or high-density strip, silicone-jacketed IP67, withstands steam and direct water spray. The aluminum profile protects the strip from impact and simplifies maintenance. The electrical connection is made outside the wet zone with an IP67 extension cable from the niche to an external housing.
Aluminum profiles recessed into the shower ceiling
For a truly modern walk-in shower, a ceiling lit by recessed aluminum profiles creates a spectacular effect — continuous light lines that merge into the ceiling tile or polished concrete. A low-profile recessed aluminum profile (10–14 mm height) integrates into a routed groove in the ceiling, flush with the finished surface. These shower ceiling profiles accept our IP67 high-density strips in warm white (3000 K) for soft, warm light, or natural white (4000 K) for a crisper rendering. The matte diffuser cover eliminates all hot spots and produces a perfectly uniform light line across the entire length, whether 60 cm or 2 meters. IP67 LED disk lights and recessed fixtures for the shower ceiling
IP67-rated LED disk lights recessed into the shower ceiling are the most common option for shower zone lighting. They handle steam, spray and water cleaning. Their compact diameter (60–80 mm) integrates discreetly into any ceiling surface — tile, concrete, treated wood. At full power, two 7 W disks in a 90 × 90 cm shower ceiling provide enough light for comfortable use without glare. Wiring for these fixtures runs through the wall or ceiling before tile installation — ideal to integrate during construction or renovation phases. For existing tiled showers, ceiling or niche profiles offer a less invasive installation option.
IP67 LED strips for walls and recesses
An IP67 LED strip placed discreetly at the base of the shower niche, under an integrated bench or along the wall-floor joint creates grazing light that highlights the shower's volumes and geometry. In dim warm white, this ambient lighting transforms the shower from a simple washing area into a wellness space. Grazing strip lighting is particularly effective in pebble-floor showers, where the effect of light on natural textures is striking.
