The NIDUS gypsum cove design offers a straightforward and cost-effective method for creating a light-grazing effect on walls, simultaneously hiding the LED source and preserving the corner's aesthetic. It can be mounted over 2x3 inch beams or joists, eliminating the necessity for complex wooden constructions. Once aligned with the gypsum panels, the LED profile(s) can be installed at an optimal position to achieve the preferred direction of light projection. This feature is especially effective when placed above blinds or curtains. Additionally, this gypsum cove can be treated with primer and painted, similar to standard wall surfaces.
The 84 and 85 series aluminum profiles are compatible with the NIDUS gypsum cove.
