The 24V 10W/m sauna, steam room and spa LED strip (IP66) is a linear lighting solution specifically engineered for high-heat and high-humidity environments. Unlike standard LED strips, this strip is rated for continuous operation across a temperature range of -20°C to 95°C, making it fully compatible with Finnish saunas, steam rooms, hammams, vapor cabins, indoor spas and any installation exposed to extreme heat or humidity. At 100 lumens per watt with an ultra-slim 8mm profile, it delivers warm, even light with no risk of thermal failure.

Running on constant-voltage 24V DC, this LED strip ensures stable and safe power throughout the full installed length. Its IP66 protection rating makes it resistant to powerful water jets from any direction — intense steam, splashing, condensation and wash-down. Certified cULus and compliant with photobiological safety standards EN62471 and EN62778 at the highest safety level RG0, it presents no risk to eyes or skin. With a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, it delivers exceptional longevity even in the most demanding conditions.

Available Color Temperatures 

This sauna LED strip is available in two warm white color temperatures, ideal for creating a relaxing and enveloping atmosphere:

• 2700K (Very Warm White) – Golden, intimate light, ideal for Finnish saunas, hammams and deep relaxation spaces.
• 3000K (Warm White) – Slightly brighter tone while retaining a warm ambiance, perfect for steam rooms, spas and Nordic baths.

Performance and Installation 

The defining feature of this strip is its ability to operate continuously at up to 95°C — the typical temperature of a Finnish sauna in full use or a high-steam steam room. Standard LED strips generally tolerate between 40°C and 60°C maximum; this special sauna strip is engineered to withstand more than double that threshold, without premature diode degradation or silicone sleeve deformation. Its cut point every 50mm allows precise adaptation to any space dimensions.

Installation inside an aluminum profile is strongly recommended — it ensures optimal heat dissipation in an already hot environment, provides mechanical protection and delivers a clean architectural finish. CSP installation clips specifically designed for this 8mm strip are sold separately for clean and secure mounting on sauna benches, walls, ceilings and steam room surfaces.

The power supply must be installed outside the sauna or steam room, in a ventilated space away from heat and steam. A commercial-grade 24V power supply is recommended to ensure performance and longevity.

Power Supply Calculator 

This sauna LED strip consumes 10W per meter, or approximately 3W per foot. Simply multiply the total installed length by 10 (in meters) or by 3 (in feet) to determine the required wattage, then add a 20% safety margin to ensure system stability and longevity.

• 1 reel (5 m / ~16 ft) = 50W → 60W power supply recommended
• 2 reels (~32 ft) = 100W → 115W power supply recommended
• 3 reels (~49 ft) = 150W → 200W power supply recommended
• 4 reels (~64 ft) = 200W → 250W power supply recommended

Use exclusively a 24V power supply installed outside the heat zone, matched to the total calculated wattage.

Dimming and Control 

There are two ways to control the brightness of your sauna or steam room LED strip.

The first and simplest option is a 120V LED wall dimmer (150W) — it installs directly in place of your existing switch, between the 120V line and a dimmable power supply, and lets you adjust brightness from the wall with no additional equipment required. 
 

The second option: a wireless controller system made up of a receiver paired with a remote or wireless wall controller. A zone is any section of lighting you want to control independently. If you want all lighting to always operate together, a single receiver is sufficient. However, if the total power of your installation exceeds 225W on that zone, a 20A LED amplifier must be added.

• 120V LED Wall Dimmer (150W) – Installs in place of your existing switch. Controls brightness from the wall, compatible with a dimmable power supply. 
   
• W21 – Wireless wall controller (AAA batteries), range up to 100 feet, up to 4 zones.
• R21 – Radio-frequency remote, range up to 100 feet, up to 4 zones.
• Universal 4-Zone 12A Receiver – Installed between the power supply and the LED strip to receive the signal (1 per independent zone).
• 20A LED Amplifier (480W at 24V) – Recommended for installations exceeding 225W per zone.
• WiFi Controller – Full brightness control via Apple or Android mobile app.
