The food-grade LED strip 16W/m (IP67) is a linear lighting solution specifically designed for commercial food display environments: meat counters, produce displays, bakery cases, and refrigerated showcases. Its dual 6000K cool white + adjustable red spectrum on 24V DC enhances the visual freshness and appeal of displayed products — light designed to make food look its best.

cULus certified, this strip meets electrical standards in Canada and the United States, with a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours. Its TWPJ silicone tube and IP67 protection rating provide resistance to water splashes and regular cleaning — essential in food service environments.

Food Display Enhancement                      

This food-grade strip combines two complementary wavelengths to optimize the appearance of food products:

• 6000K Cool White – Bright, crisp light that accentuates the apparent freshness of vegetables, fish, and dairy products.
• Adjustable Red – Red wavelength that enhances the natural color of meat, poultry, and red fruits, making them look more appetizing and vibrant.

Performance and Installation                      

With a 120° beam angle and 1,400 lm/m output, this strip delivers powerful, even illumination. Its 10mm PCB with 3oz copper ensures excellent heat dissipation for long-term performance, even in refrigerated display environments.

IP67 protection combined with the TWPJ silicone tube makes it resistant to direct water splashes and cleaning — required in any food environment complying with HACCP standards. The 3M 9495LE adhesive provides secure bonding to the metal and plastic surfaces of food display cases.

Installation inside an aluminum profile is recommended to optimize heat dissipation and achieve a professional finish.

Power Supply Calculator                      

This LED strip consumes approximately 4.9 watts per foot. Multiply the total installed length by 4.9 to determine the required wattage.

Always add a 20% safety margin to ensure system stability and longevity.

• 1 reel (5 m / ~16 ft) = 80W → 100W power supply recommended
• 2 reels (~32 ft) = 160W → 200W power supply recommended
• 3 reels (~49 ft) = 240W → 300W power supply recommended

Use a 24V power supply matched to the total calculated wattage.

Dimming and Control                      

This dual-channel strip (cool white + red) requires a dedicated CCT-type controller to adjust the color ratio in real time. A standard 120V wall dimmer is not compatible — it controls only one channel and cannot adjust the white-to-red balance.

A zone is any section of lighting you want to control independently. If the total power of your installation exceeds 225W on that zone, a 20A LED amplifier must be added.

• CCT 4-Zone Remote – Controls the cool white/red ratio and brightness, range up to 100 feet, up to 4 zones.
• Universal 4-Zone 12A Receiver – Installed between the power supply and the LED strip to receive the signal (1 per independent zone).
• 20A LED Amplifier (480W at 24V) – Recommended for installations exceeding 225W per zone.
• WiFi Controller – Color ratio and brightness control via Apple or Android mobile app.
