The #88 LED aluminum profile is a recessed profile designed to make the light source invisible. With a 32 mm (1.260 in) flange, a 17.7 mm (0.697 in) height and a 17.8 mm (0.701 in) channel, it gives a clean finish, flush with the surface, and turns a simple LED strip into a built-in line of light.

Its back rail and butterfly clips let it hold in thin materials that are too thin for standard brackets. Extruded from ALCOA 6063-T5 aluminum, it acts as a heat sink and extends the life of the strip. It can be painted to match your décor. 3-year warranty; certified for the Canadian market.

The #88 channel is 17.8 mm wide inside. It takes these 24V LED strips:

Lenses and Finish

• Opaque lens – available with the profile in 8 and 16 ft; it diffuses and softens the light. Also sold separately in 8 ft.
• Frosted lens – available with the profile in 16 ft; also sold separately in 8 ft.
• Coffee black lens – sold separately in 8 ft.
• Finish – natural aluminum; the profile can also be painted.

Accessories

• #88 end cap with hole – for the power wire exit.
• #88 end cap without hole
• Bracket spring for #88 series – the #88 butterfly spring clip, sold individually, to hold it in thin materials.

Indoors or outdoors: the profile is aluminum, the strip is what makes the difference. For outdoor or damp locations, pick the waterproof version of your strip from our IP66 outdoor LED strips.
