The 24V 4.8W/m indoor LED strip (IP22) is a versatile linear lighting solution designed for residential and commercial projects requiring uniform, energy-efficient, and long-lasting white light. At 4.8 watts and 576 to 672 lumens per meter, it delivers soft and consistent ambient illumination, ideal for accent lighting and architectural applications.

Operating at constant 24V DC (also available in 12V in 3000K), this LED strip ensures stable and safe power delivery. Its 112 LEDs per meter (SMD 2835 chips), mounted on a 3 oz copper PCB, promote excellent heat dissipation and a lifespan of over 50,000 hours. cULus certified, it meets electrical standards in effect in both Canada and the United States.

Color Temperatures

This LED strip is available in five white color temperatures to suit any lighting need:

• 2700K (Warm White) – Creates a cozy and relaxing ambiance, ideal for living rooms and bedrooms.
• 3000K (Warm White) – Offers a slightly more neutral tone, perfect for living spaces.
• 3500K (Natural White) – Balances warmth and clarity, suitable for versatile environments.
• 4000K (Natural White) – Promotes a dynamic light, ideal for offices and commercial spaces.
• 5000K (Cool White) – Provides intense and stimulating brightness, recommended for workshops and areas requiring maximum visibility.

Performance and Installation

With a 120° beam angle, this LED strip delivers even light distribution with no visible dark spots. Its IP22 rating makes it perfectly suited for all standard dry indoor environments. For humid areas such as bathrooms or commercial kitchens, explore our range of IP66 LED strips.

Installation inside an aluminum profile is strongly recommended to optimize heat dissipation and achieve a professional architectural finish.

The strip can be cut every 71.4 mm (2 13/16 in), i.e. every 8 LEDs, to match dimensions precisely. The maximum length per power feed is 10 m: beyond that, power each section separately, in parallel, from the power supply.

Power Supply Calculator

This LED strip consumes approximately 1.5 watts per foot (1.46 W/ft, i.e. 4.8 W per meter). Simply multiply the total installed length by 1.5 to determine the required wattage.

Then load the power supply to 80% of its rating at most to ensure system stability and longevity.

• 1 reel (5 m / ~16 ft) = 24W → 30W power supply minimum recommended
• 2 reels (10 m / ~32 ft) = 48W → 60W power supply minimum recommended
• 4 reels (20 m / ~66 ft) = 96W → 150W power supply minimum recommended
• 6 reels (30 m / ~98 ft) = 144W → 200W power supply minimum recommended

Use a 24V power supply matched to the total calculated wattage.

Dimming and Control

There are two ways to control the brightness of your LED strip. The first and simplest option is a 120V LED wall dimmer — it installs directly in place of your existing switch, between the 120V line and a dimmable power supply, and lets you adjust brightness from the wall with no additional equipment required.

The second option: a wireless controller system made up of a receiver paired with a remote or wireless wall controller. A zone is any section of lighting you want to control independently. For example, if you want a ceiling to turn on separately from a niche, or one section to have a different brightness than another, that represents two distinct zones.

If you want all lighting to always operate together (same brightness and simultaneous on/off), a single receiver is sufficient for the entire installation. However, if the total power of your project exceeds 225W on that zone (about 46 m of this strip), a 20A LED amplifier must be added to ensure stable, uniform, and lasting power delivery.

• 120V LED Wall Dimmer (150W) – Installs in place of your existing switch. Controls brightness from the wall, compatible with a dimmable power supply.
• W21 – Wireless wall controller (AAA batteries), range up to 100 feet, up to 4 zones.
• R21 – Radio-frequency remote, range up to 100 feet, up to 4 zones.
• Universal 4-Zone 12A Receiver – Installed between the power supply and the LED strip to receive the signal (1 per independent zone).
• 20A LED Amplifier (480W at 24V) – Recommended for installations exceeding 225W per zone.
• WiFi Controller – Full brightness control via Apple or Android mobile app.
