ALUMINUM PROFILE #315

The aluminum profile #315 by LEDCO is a recessed profile designed to integrate directly into standard 1/2" and 5/8" drywall panels. It creates a perfectly flush light line on ceilings or walls, with no visible frame or protrusion, delivering a clean, professional architectural finish.

DIMENSIONS AND OPTIONS     

This drywall recessed LED profile is available in a standard length of 8 feet (96 inches), with custom fabrication available up to 96 inches. Made from ALCOA 6063-T5 aluminum alloy, it offers excellent structural rigidity while remaining lightweight and easy to handle during installation.

The opaque lens is sold separately, allowing you to choose the desired diffusion level based on the project. The natural aluminum finish integrates discreetly once recessed, as only the lens remains visible at the surface.

COMPATIBILITY AND INSTALLATION     

The recessed aluminum profile #315 fits directly into 1/2" and 5/8" drywall panels, the two most common thicknesses in Canadian residential and commercial construction. Installation takes place during the wall or ceiling finishing phase: the profile is positioned between the framing studs before final drywall installation, then the lens is snapped into place at the surface for a flush result.

This profile is compatible with our LED strips based on the internal width of the profile. Its aluminum construction ensures efficient heat dissipation, extending the lifespan of the LEDs and maintaining optimal operating temperature.
