The 24V 9.6W/m indoor LED strip (IP22) is our most popular linear lighting solution for residential and commercial projects. At 9.6 watts and about 1,248 lumens per meter, it delivers even white light strong enough to serve as indirect main lighting, while staying soft enough for ambiance.

Operating at a constant 24V DC (also available in 12V), this LED strip ensures stable and safe power delivery. Its 120 LEDs per meter (SMD 2835 chips), mounted on a 3 oz copper PCB, promote excellent heat dissipation and a lifespan of over 50,000 hours. cULus certified, it meets electrical standards in effect in both Canada and the United States.

Color Temperatures

This LED strip is available in five white color temperatures to suit any lighting need:

• 2700K (Warm White) – Creates a cozy and relaxing ambiance, ideal for living rooms and bedrooms.
• 3000K (Warm White) – Offers a slightly more neutral tone, perfect for living spaces.
• 3500K (Natural White) – Balances warmth and clarity, suitable for versatile environments.
• 4000K (Natural White) – Promotes a dynamic light, ideal for offices and commercial spaces.
• 5000K (Cool White) – Provides intense and stimulating brightness, recommended for workshops and areas requiring maximum visibility.

Performance and Installation

With a 120° beam angle, this LED strip delivers even light distribution with no visible dark spots, ideal for drywall reveals, niches and architectural outlines. Its IP22 rating makes it suited for dry indoor environments — living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, retail spaces. For maximum lifespan and a high-end finish, installation inside an aluminum profile is strongly recommended. The profile improves heat dissipation, reduces LED degradation and gives a clean architectural finish thanks to its built-in diffuser.

The strip can be cut at every LED, every 8.3 mm (1/3 in), to match dimensions precisely. The maximum length per power feed is 10 m: beyond that, power each section separately, in parallel, from the power supply.

Power Supply Calculator

This LED strip consumes approximately 3 watts per foot (2.93 W/ft, i.e. 9.6 W per meter). Simply multiply the total installed length by 3 to determine the required wattage.

Then load the power supply to 80% of its rating at most to ensure system stability and longevity.

• 1 reel (5 m / ~16 ft) = 48W → 60W power supply minimum recommended
• 2 reels (10 m / ~32 ft) = 96W → 150W power supply minimum recommended
• 3 reels (15 m / ~49 ft) = 144W → 200W power supply minimum recommended
• 4 reels (20 m / ~66 ft) = 192W → 250W power supply minimum recommended

Use a 24V power supply matched to the total calculated wattage.

Dimming and Control

There are two ways to control the brightness of your LED strip. The first and simplest option is a 120V LED wall dimmer — it installs directly in place of your existing switch, between the 120V line and a dimmable power supply, and lets you adjust brightness from the wall with no additional equipment required.

The second option: a wireless controller system made up of a receiver paired with a remote or wireless wall controller. A zone is any section of lighting you want to control independently. For example, if you want a ceiling to turn on separately from a niche, or one section to have a different brightness than another, that represents two distinct zones.

If you want all lighting to always operate together (same brightness and simultaneous on/off), a single receiver is sufficient for the entire installation. However, if the total power of your project exceeds 225W on that zone (about 23 m of this strip), a 20A LED amplifier must be added to ensure stable, uniform, and lasting power delivery.

• 120V LED Wall Dimmer – Installs in place of your existing switch. Controls brightness from the wall, compatible with a dimmable power supply.
• W21 – Wireless wall controller (AAA batteries), range up to 100 feet, up to 4 zones.
• R21 – Radio-frequency remote, range up to 100 feet, up to 4 zones.
• Universal 4-Zone 12A Receiver – Installed between the power supply and the LED strip to receive the signal (1 per independent zone).
• 20A LED Amplifier (480W at 24V) – Recommended for installations exceeding 225W per zone.
• WiFi Controller – Full brightness control via Apple or Android mobile app.
