The #690 LED aluminum profile is designed for cove lighting on long linear runs: its aluminum channel fits directly into drywall panels for a seamless finish and simpler cove construction. At 105.2 mm wide by 44 mm high (4.14 × 1.73 in), with a 24 mm (0.94 in) channel, it turns a simple LED strip into clean, professional cove lighting.

Extruded from ALCOA 6063-T5 aluminum, it acts as a heat sink: the strip runs cooler, its LEDs age more slowly and your lighting keeps its brightness longer. A polycarbonate insert holds the strip in place and tilts to 0°, 25° or -25° to aim the light exactly where you need it. The #690 is a direct fit for 5/8 in drywall (1/2 in with 1/8 in shims added on site), levels with drywall mud thanks to its grooved area, and can be painted on site.

Indoors or outdoors: the profile is aluminum, the strip is what makes the difference. For outdoor or damp locations, pick the waterproof version of your strip from our IP66 outdoor LED strips.
