FLEXIBLE LED PANEL – 23W

SKU: LCFLS24V-23W-50K-IP22

The flexible LED panel 23W is a high-density flexible light surface running on 24V DC, designed for applications requiring uniform and diffuse light over a large area. Equipped with 648 SMD 2835 diodes in 5000K cool white with a color rendering index of CRI 90+, it delivers accurate color reproduction and perfectly even brightness with no hot spots or dark zones.

This panel is the go-to solution for designers and contractors for backlighting translucent stone countertops — onyx, marble, quartz, agate — as well as backlit decorative feature walls, glowing kitchen islands and bar counters. Its thinness and flexibility allow it to be installed directly behind the stone, flat or on curved surfaces, to bring out the natural veining and translucency of the material with a remarkable glow. cULus certified and IP22 rated, it is designed for dry indoor environments with a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours.

Technical Specifications

This flexible LED panel stands out with its performance-oriented technical specifications:

  • 648 SMD 2835 diodes — high density for perfectly uniform light across the entire surface, with no hot spots visible through the stone
  • 5000K (Cool White) — bright light that maximizes translucency and brings out the natural veining of decorative stones
  • CRI 90+ — accurate color rendering close to natural daylight
  • 24V DC — safe low-voltage power supply
  • 23W — optimized wattage for a high lumen-per-watt ratio
  • IP22 — protection against contact and falling foreign bodies in dry indoor environments

Recommended Applications

This flexible LED panel 23W is ideal for:

  • Backlit translucent stone countertops — onyx, marble, quartz, agate, quartzite — to highlight natural veining and the translucency of the material
  • Backlit decorative feature walls, column cladding and wall coverings in natural or engineered stone
  • Glowing kitchen islands, backlit bar counters and hotel reception surfaces
  • Lightboxes, backlit signage and stretch ceiling lighting
  • Retail display cases, showcases and exhibit furniture requiring a uniform light surface
  • Photo and video studio lighting requiring high CRI for accurate color reproduction

Performance and Installation

For stone backlighting, it is recommended to leave a gap of 1 to 2 inches between the panel and the stone surface to ensure uniform light diffusion and eliminate any visible hot spots. The panel can be secured with adhesive or staples on a rigid support, with the stone then placed on top. For onyx or marble countertops less than ¾ inch thick, a preliminary test with a sample is recommended to verify the material's translucency.

The panel can also be cut to the required dimensions and connected directly to a 24V power supply. For enclosed lightbox installations, adequate ventilation is recommended to ensure diode longevity. Its IP22 rating makes it exclusively suited for dry indoor environments.

Power Supply Calculator

This LED panel consumes 23W per unit. Simply add the wattage of all installed panels to determine the total required power.

Always add a 20% safety margin to ensure system stability and longevity.

  • 1 panel = 23W → 40W or 60W power supply recommended
  • 2 panels = 46W → 60W power supply recommended
  • 4 panels = 92W → 115W power supply recommended
  • 6 panels = 138W → 150W or 200W power supply recommended

Use a 24V power supply matched to the total calculated wattage.

Dimming and Control

There are two ways to control the brightness of your flexible LED panel. The first and simplest option is a 120V LED wall dimmer — it installs directly in place of your existing switch, between the 120V line and a dimmable power supply, and lets you adjust brightness from the wall with no additional equipment required.

The second option: a wireless controller system made up of a receiver paired with a remote or wireless wall controller. A zone is any section of lighting you want to control independently. If you want all panels to always operate together, a single receiver is sufficient. However, if the total power exceeds 225W on that zone, a 20A LED amplifier must be added.

  • 120V LED Wall Dimmer (150W) – Installs in place of your existing switch. Controls brightness from the wall, compatible with a dimmable power supply.
  • W21 – Wireless wall controller (AAA batteries), range up to 100 feet, up to 4 zones.
  • R21 – Radio-frequency remote, range up to 100 feet, up to 4 zones.
  • Universal 4-Zone 12A Receiver – Installed between the power supply and the LED panel to receive the signal (1 per independent zone).
  • 20A LED Amplifier (480W at 24V) – Recommended for installations exceeding 225W per zone.
  • WiFi Controller – Full brightness control via Apple or Android mobile app.
