IP65 recessed LED puck lights in deck risers or board sides are the most popular deck lighting solution. They guide users step by step without glare, create a spectacular nighttime architectural effect and need no replacement for 50,000 hours. Recessed into pressure-treated wood, composite or concrete, they withstand weather, snow, frost and de-icing products. In 3000K or 4000K for maximum nighttime visibility. IP67 LED Strips Under the Railing and Handrail
An IP67 LED strip mounted under the deck railing cap or bottom rail creates a continuous light line along the deck perimeter — visually defining the space from the street and guiding users along the deck edges. In IP65 outdoor aluminum profiles, the strip is protected from mechanical impact (snow removal, chair legs), direct rain and frost. In 3000K warm white for a welcoming evening ambiance, or in RGB for color effects by occasion — red and white for Christmas, green and white for Canada Day. The transformer (driver) must be IP67 rated for outdoor use and concealed in a waterproof enclosure under the deck or inside the house.
