ELECTRICAL BOX - 820D-F CLIP

The F-clip device box support 820D is a mounting accessory made from 1.2 mm thick galvanized steel, designed to secure device boxes in existing drywall walls. This electrical box bracket 820D is used during renovation (old work) when the box cannot be fastened directly to a stud. Dimensions: 2" x 1" x 0.25". Also available in boxes of 100 units.

FEATURES AND INSTALLATION    

This switch box support clip features two legs of equal length that allow quick and precise positioning against the inner surface of the wall. The process is straightforward: the F-clip slides between the box and the drywall, then the legs fold over to lock the box firmly in place. This method eliminates the need for extra screws or access to the wood framing behind the wall.

Built from heavy-duty galvanized steel, this device box support for drywall resists corrosion and handles the weight of switches and receptacles installed in the box. It is compatible with standard steel device boxes equipped with plaster ears, including 1-gang models such as the 1100-L, 1102-L and 1104-L.
