The 24V 14.4W/m outdoor RGB LED strip (IP66) is the color lighting solution for residential and commercial projects requiring dynamic, multicolor light effects in outdoor environments. At 14.4 watts per meter with 60 SMD 5050 diodes per meter, it produces vivid, saturated colors across a 120° beam angle — ideal for festive ambiances, colorful architectural highlights and decorative deck and facade lighting.
Â
Running on constant-voltage 24V DC, this RGB strip ensures stable power and uniform color output along its entire length. Its molded silicone protective sleeve provides an IP66 rating, offering resistance to powerful water jets from any direction — heavy rain, wash-down, condensation and repeated freeze-thaw cycles. cULus certified and compliant with electrical standards in Canada and the United States, with a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours.
Â
This outdoor RGB LED strip combines three independent color channels to produce a near-unlimited spectrum of hues and effects:

This 24V 14.4W/m IP66 outdoor RGB LED strip is ideal for:
Â
Â
With a 120° beam angle, this RGB LED strip delivers uniform, shadow-free light. Its IP66 protection rating makes it suitable for environments exposed to direct rain, snow and water jets — decks, balconies, facades and exterior staircases. For submerged or underwater installations, see our full lineup of waterproof outdoor LED strips.
Â
For maximum lifespan and a premium finish, installation inside an aluminum profile is strongly recommended. The profile mechanically protects the strip against impact, thermal expansion and ice buildup, improves heat dissipation and delivers a clean architectural look through its integrated diffuser.
Â
This RGB LED strip consumes approximately 4.5 watts per foot. Simply multiply the total installed length by 4.5 to determine the required wattage.
Â
Always add a 20% safety margin to ensure system stability and longevity.
Â
Â
Use a non-dimmable 24V power supply matched to the total calculated wattage. Color control is handled by the RGB receiver, not the power supply.
Â
This outdoor RGB LED strip requires a dedicated controller for color, brightness and effect management. A standard 120V wall dimmer is incompatible with this strip type — it cannot independently control the individual color channels.
Â
A zone is any section of lighting you want to control independently. If you want all RGB lighting to always operate together, a single receiver is sufficient. However, if the total power of your zone exceeds 225W, a 20A LED amplifier must be added — approximately 3 reels of this strip per zone.
Â
Â
Available in standard 5-meter or 30-meter reels, this outdoor RGB LED strip can also be supplied in a custom length.
