The LCLP-REC12A-UNI universal 4-channel receiver is the central component of any wireless LED strip control system. It connects between the 12V or 24V power supply and the LED strip, receiving 2.4 GHz RF commands from the associated remote or wall controller. Compatible with all low-voltage LED strip types — single-color white, CCT dual-color, RGB, and RGBW — a single receiver can be paired with up to 10 different remotes simultaneously.
Its logarithmic 4096-level dimming curve delivers a perfectly smooth 0–100% transition with no flicker. The 1000 Hz PWM frequency eliminates visual interference even in camera environments. For RGB and RGBW strips, 10 built-in dynamic modes are available — smooth gradients, color jumps, and per-channel fades. For installations exceeding 225W per zone, an LED 4-zone 20A amplifier must be added in series. This receiver is sold individually; it is included in the R21 and R24 starter kits.
Short press the MATCH button on the receiver, then immediately press the on/off button or the desired zone button on the remote. The RUN indicator flashes several times to confirm successful pairing. To use the receiver with an RGB strip (no white channel), hold the MATCH button for 15 seconds to switch the unit into RGB mode. To clear all stored pairings, hold MATCH for 5 seconds until the indicator flashes.
When multiple receivers are assigned to the same zone, the auto-transmitting function allows each receiver to relay the RF signal to the next one, up to 30 meters apart — enabling large chain installations with no signal loss over unlimited distances. Auto-synchronization ensures all receivers in the same zone respond simultaneously, maintaining the same dynamic mode and speed across the entire installation.
A maximum spacing of 15 meters between receivers is recommended indoors. Metal materials and strong signal sources — WiFi routers, microwave ovens — may reduce effective range. Each receiver can also be assigned to an independent zone; the number of available zones depends on the remote model being used.
The receiver supports two fade durations for on/off transitions. To enable a 3-second fade, hold the MATCH button for 5 seconds, then short press it 3 times — the indicator flashes 3 times to confirm. To restore the factory default (0.5 seconds), hold MATCH for 10 seconds.
