The 120V COB LED strip 12W/m IP65 is a high-voltage linear lighting solution designed for long-run installations with no external power supply required. Thanks to its COB (Chip-On-Board) technology with 296 LEDs per meter, it produces a perfectly continuous and uniform light — no visible hot spots, no dot effect, just a smooth and even line of light from end to end. With a light output of 1,200 lumens per meter at only 12W consumed, it delivers exceptional luminous efficiency for its format.

Running directly on 120V AC, this COB LED strip connects to the existing electrical circuit with no additional power supply enclosure. Its ultra-compact 9.5 mm × 4.5 mm profile, 3M VHB 5608 adhesive backing and integrated US plug simplify installation and allow discreet integration into any architectural detail. Certified cETLus and rated IP65, it is approved for both indoor and outdoor use, with resistance to water splashing and dust ingress.

Available Color Temperatures   

This 120V COB LED strip is available in two color temperatures to match the ambiance and context of your project:

• 3000K (Warm White) – Soft and enveloping light, ideal for residential spaces, hotels, restaurants and architectural lighting with a warm atmosphere.
• 4000K (Neutral White) – Crisp and precise light, perfect for commercial and institutional applications and facades requiring higher visual clarity.

The COB technology on this strip packs 296 diodes per meter onto a continuous emitting surface, eliminating the shadow zones between chips seen on traditional SMD strips. The result is a perfectly consistent line of light, with a color rendering index of Ra >80 ensuring accurate and visually comfortable tones.

Its cut point every 125 mm allows precise sizing to your space dimensions. The 3M VHB 5608 adhesive provides strong and lasting adhesion on any clean, smooth surface. For outdoor installations or environments subject to vibration, integration into an aluminum profile is strongly recommended — it optimizes thermal dissipation and provides long-term mechanical protection.

This strip connects directly to a 120V AC circuit through its integrated US plug — no power supply is required. Installation must be carried out by a licensed electrician in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code.
