The 24V 19.2W/m outdoor LED strip (IP66) is the high-power solution for residential and commercial projects requiring intense, uniform and reliable white light in outdoor environments. At 19.2 watts per meter, it delivers four times the output of the 4.8W/m while maintaining professional light quality, making it the preferred choice for spaces requiring primary LED lighting rather than simple accent lighting.
Â
Running on constant-voltage 24V DC, this LED strip ensures a stable and safe power supply along its entire length. Its molded silicone protective sleeve provides an IP66 rating, offering resistance to powerful water jets from any direction — heavy rain, wash-down, condensation and repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Its color rendering index above CRI 90 ensures exceptional color fidelity, accurately reproducing every shade, material and texture illuminated. cULus certified and compliant with electrical standards in Canada and the United States, with a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours.

This outdoor LED strip is available in five white color temperatures to match any architectural style or desired atmosphere:

This 24V 19.2W/m IP66 outdoor LED strip is ideal for:
Â
Â
With a 120° beam angle, this LED strip delivers uniform, shadow-free light, ideal for soffits, facades and outdoor architectural contours. Its IP66 protection rating makes it suitable for environments exposed to direct rain, snow and water jets — decks, balconies, facades and exterior staircases. For submerged or underwater installations, see our full lineup of waterproof outdoor LED strips.
Â
At 19.2W/m, proper thermal management is essential to preserve the nominal lifespan of the diodes. Installation inside an aluminum profile is strongly recommended — it mechanically protects the strip against impact, thermal expansion and ice buildup, improves heat dissipation and delivers a clean architectural finish through its integrated diffuser.
Â
This LED strip consumes approximately 6 watts per foot. Simply multiply the total installed length by 6 to determine the required wattage.
Â
Always add a 20% safety margin to ensure system stability and longevity.
Â
Â
Use a 24V power supply matched to the total calculated wattage.
Â
There are two ways to control the brightness of your outdoor LED strip.
Â
The first and simplest option is a 120V LED wall dimmer (150W) — it installs directly in place of your existing switch, between the 120V line and a dimmable power supply, and lets you adjust brightness from the wall with no additional equipment required.
Â
The second option: a wireless controller system made up of a receiver paired with a remote or wireless wall controller.
Â
A zone is any section of lighting you want to control independently. For example, if you want soffit lighting to operate separately from deck lighting, or if one section needs a different brightness level than another, those represent two distinct zones.
Â
If you want all lighting to always operate together (same brightness and simultaneous on/off), a single receiver is sufficient for the entire installation. However, if the total power of your project exceeds 225W on that zone, a 20A LED amplifier must be added to ensure stable, uniform and lasting output — approximately 2.5 reels of this strip per zone.
Â
Â
Available in standard 5-meter or 30-meter reels, this outdoor LED strip can also be supplied in a custom length.
