LED STRIP KIT — COMPLETE SYSTEM
A successful LED strip installation isn't just a strip: it's a complete system where every piece matters. To get even, long-lasting light with no overheating, you need the right strip, the right channel, the right power supply, the right dimmer and the right connectors. This page brings together every category you need to build your LED strip kit from A to Z.
Follow the 6 elements below: choose each from its category, and you get a coherent system where all the parts connect together.
1. The LED strip — the heart of the system
Start with the strip: indoor or outdoor, single colour, tunable white (CCT) or colour (RGB/RGBW). The voltage (12V or 24V) and wattage (W/m) drive the rest of the kit.
2. The aluminum channel — protection and finish
The channel protects the strip, dissipates heat (longer life) and its lens removes visible dots. Surface, recessed or suspended depending on the mount.
3. The power supply — the right wattage
The power supply must match the strip voltage and provide enough watts (+20% margin). Dimmable if you want to vary brightness, otherwise non-dimmable.
4. The dimmer or controller — the ambience
To dim (white strip) or change colours (RGB/RGBW), add the right dimmer or controller. Reminder: dimming requires a dimmable supply.
5. The connectors — assemble without soldering
The connectors and cables join sections, turn corners and link the strip to the supply — no soldering iron. Choose them by strip width and IP rating.
6. Option: LED neon flex
For a continuous dot-free line of light (signage, cove lighting, outlines), neon flex is an alternative to strip — with the same power and dimming logic.
How to assemble your kit
1) Strip (voltage + wattage + IP) → 2) channel (mount type) → 3) power supply (watts + dimmable?) → 4) dimmer/controller → 5) matched connectors. Our team can validate your full kit before you order.
